International Museum Day

You can look forward to a colourful programme with something for curious people of all ages. Let yourself be guided to different futuristic scenarios, build expansive future structures on the forecourt or solve our tricky crime story “Project HORIZON”. In the “Futures Literacy” tour, you will explore how our ideas about the future are formed and how they influence our actions. You can take a special look at our special exhibition “Ocean Futures”.

Of course, there will be plenty going on for children, too. They can explore the exhibition with our family tour, the kids’ guide and the children’s rally and come up with creative ideas for the future in the lab and studio. If you would like to take a short walk through the government district, we recommend our “Mission Possible” – a fictional and interactive audio walk expedition into the future.

Come along, discover, explore and celebrate with us that museums exist!
