This edition of Questions for the Future will be revolving around the most precious raw material of all: water. Our quiz masters Tom and Darren will be diving with you into the depths of exciting, astonishing and sometimes useless knowledge regarding this popular wet element.

With carefully condensed questions, images and sound snippets, they’ll be rushing from the Big Bang to the distant future, from the River Spree to the Amazon, and from A for “Ah, I still need to fill up the pool” to Z for “zero humidity”.

But don’t worry: to win the quiz, you don’t need a PhD in hydrology or a gold badge for swimming. In the end, our quiz masters put on their swimming costumes in the same way as you. Your general knowledge, a bit of luck when you jump in at the deep end and your team’s swarm intelligence are all you need in order not to drown in the four quiz rounds and to give the competition on the neighbouring tables a cold shower. After all, the quiz is not for people who want to sit on their own, but for groups of up to six participants. Of course, aids such as mobile phones, navigation instruments or rubber rings are strictly forbidden.And, naturally, there’ll also be a prize to reel in!
