The future explained! Nutrition in transition

Researchers are developing new foods. These should be healthy and good for the environment. In the past, food came from the farm. Now it also comes from the lab. We’ll be talking about exciting ideas for our nutrition.

We’ll be exploring these questions:

  • Can we have good milk without cows?
  • Do we still need to keep animals? Or does meat from the lab taste good too?
  • How can we make our nutrition more sustainable?

This event will take place in German Plain Language. Everyone is invited to join in.

Julia Naji is a moderator.

She is the author of the Simple Language Manual.

She advises on social inclusion.

Guest

  • Mario Jekle

Mario Jekle is a professor at the University Hohenheim.

He is a member of the German Bread Senate.

He is researching plant-based foods and how they can be produced in the future. Also in 3D printing processes.
