(Un)limited Movement? Power-critical perspectives on mobility
Migration and mobility go hand in hand. Because migration always means movement. Especially in relation to migration it becomes apparent: Mobility is anything but non-discriminatory, because the "if" and the "how" of mobility depend on privileges! The conditions for overcoming borders are very different, be it country borders or visible and invisible borders within the city. Because here, too, the possibilities of movement, of participation and of taking space are unfairly distributed. Who can move where? Which structures of inequality play a role in this? We want to explore these contexts together with you in an interactive session.
