Family Sunday

It’s showtime!

Futurium’s first show for all the family is back! Julian Janssen, also known as “Checker Julian”, is inviting you to an entertaining show on the subject of raw materials. Author and journalist Christoph Drösser will be presenting his new children’s book “Einmal Zukunft und zurück” (“To the Future and Back”). In addition, you can look forward to family tours and the Open Lab. So grab your kids and come to Futurium!

Experience Futurium’s very first family show for our annual theme of “Treasures of the Future”! You’ll be accompanying our presenter Julian, known from the KiKA TV programme “Checker Julian”, in his search for an important material he needs for repairing his phone. Will he be successful? Check it out!

Together with you, author and journalist Christoph Drösser wants to take a look into the world of tomorrow’s children. In his new book “Einmal Zukunft und zurück” (“To the Future and Back”), he asks how likely it is that predictions about the future will come true.

Discovering and shaping the future is the motto of our family tour. It will take you to the highlights of the exhibition. In the Thinking Spaces Human, Nature and Technology, you’ll discover exciting options for the future and develop your own standpoints on controversial topics.

Ideas for the future of democracy are wanted at the Open Lab for Families. You’ll be using the laser cutter to make stencils promoting your demands. Or you can build an anti-facial-recognition mask to protect your identity.
