International Museum Day
One day of concentrated museum power! On this Sunday, museums all over the world will be drawing attention to themselves with their unique exhibitions and exciting events. Futurium will be joining in too.
Here in the Futurium, everything revolves around the question: how do we want to live? In the exhibition, you can discover many possible futures; in the Forum, you can participate in open discussions; and, in the Futurium Lab, you can try out your own ideas.
Discover a fragrant bouquet of exciting activities with something for everyone: build expansive structures of the future on the forecourt, discover the exhibition interactively with our curators and solve our tricky crime story “Project HORIZON”. If you’d like to take a short walk through the government district, we recommend our “Mission Possible” – a fictional and interactive audio walk expedition into the future. Of course, a lot will also be going on for children. They can explore the exhibition with our family tour, the kids’ guide and the children’s rally and come up with creative ideas for the future in the Lab and studio. Drop by and let’s celebrate the existence of museums!

Entdeckt einen bunten Strauß spannender Aktionen, der für jeden etwas bereithält: Baut auf dem Vorplatz raumgreifende Zukunftsgebilde, entdeckt mit unseren Kurator*innen interaktiv die Ausstellung, löst unsere knifflige Crime-Story „Project HORIZON“. Wer noch einen kleinen Spaziergang durchs Regierungsviertel machen möchte, dem sei unsere „Mission Possible“ empfohlen – eine fiktionale und interaktive Audiowalk-Expedition in die Zukunft. Natürlich kommen auch die Kinder auf ihre Kosten. Mit unserer Familienführung, dem Kids-Guide und der Kinderrallye können sie die Ausstellung erkunden und in Lab und Studio kreative Ideen für die Zukunft austüfteln. Kommt vorbei und feiert mit uns, dass es Museen gibt!
