In the process, we didn't just ponder problems, but also considered how we can master the future together. After all, it's a relationship for life – for better or for worse! A global pact for the future is set to bring about a breakthrough - for global cooperation and the solution of common problems. The United Nations is currently shaping the process for the "Pact for the Future". Lew Töpfer is a youth delegate to the United Nations. We discuss with him what good networks look like, especially when they combine different cultures, languages and systems of government.

Whether for the climate, against racism or ever-increasing rents in big cities - anyone who wants to get politically involved today can take part in demonstrations, petitions or online campaigns. It's simple, immediate and also suitable for Instagram. Party involvement, on the other hand, seems dusty, tedious and old-fashioned. The great ox tour - symbolising the career advancement of politicians - from campaign worker to local association board member to candidate? So how can we make party involvement more attractive again? And how can parties become more inclusive, more participatory and therefore more diverse? We will discuss these and many other questions with Philipp Amthor, member of the CDU federal parliamentary group.

Calling numbers, eternal waiting times or no appointments at all - who hasn't been there? Our day-to-day dealings with the public administration don't feel much like the future and are often quite gruelling and nerve-wracking. Bureaucracy doesn't exactly scream new beginnings. Together with Caroline Paulick-Thiel, Director of Politics for Tomorrow, we want to get the administration out of its dusty corner and discuss what a future-orientated administration could look like: How can administrations become more open and transparent in the future and allow more participation? What innovative approaches and concrete practical examples already exist? And what contribution can digitalisation make?
