Workshop Futurium Lab
This week you have the possibility to meet the creators of FANTASTIC MOBILITY - an installation that invites you to develop playful prototypes of vehicles for the city of the future. What could mobility look like in the city of the future? What kinds of vehicles will we use to get around? During the workshop BADABOOMBERLIN takes you on a journey through their creative process and tells their story about the development of a media-installation.
What is an Open Lab evening?
Have you ever wondered what design thinking is, how a 3D printer works and how a robot is programmed? And what exactly does all this have to do with the future? Then you've come to the right place in the Futurium Lab! Every Thursday we invite you to get to know methods and tools for shaping the future together with our makers and to develop new ideas for the future.
About BADABOOMBERLIN
Daniel Huber and Alessandro Maggioni meet in Berlin in 2013.They share a playful approach to technology and curiosity to combine analog and digital media. They collaborate in projects for museums and festivals, and in 2016 they found Badaboom Berlin, where they develop installations and interactive tools. In their work technology is a framework that allows free espression of creativity. Drawings, sculptures, any object enters magically in the installations, and the surprise involves kids and grown-ups in the creative process. They research and collaborate with museums, theaters and festivals. They regularly give workshops in schools, media art events and universities.
