Book presentation for children
To the Future and Back
There are lots of predictions about the future. But how can we be sure they’ll actually come true? After all, 50 years ago people thought that by now we’d have long been zipping around in flying cars. So predicting the future certainly isn’t easy. Nevertheless, author and journalist Christoph Drösser has dared to take a look into the world of tomorrow’s children.

We know for sure when the next solar eclipse is going to take place. After all, we can calculate it with great precision. But as soon as humans enter the stage, predicting the future suddenly stops being quite so easy. The human world is developing far too rapidly for precise predictions.
In his book, Christoph Drösser focuses on the lives of children in the future. How will they play, learn and get from A to B in ten, twenty or even fifty years’ time? Will robots be doing their homework? At Futurium, Drösser will be introducing his book – illustrated by Gareth Ryans and about to be published by Gabriel-Verlag – to all curious children. And he’ll be revealing which scenarios he thinks are convincing and which ones are rather unlikely.
