On the MOSAiC expedition, photographer Esther Horvath succeeded in capturing her life. A few weeks after her return from the Arctic, she won the World Press Photo Award in the category Environment with her picture of two polar bears in the spotlight of the icebreaker Polarstern. This photo and many other impressive shots of the preparations as well as of the first leg of the expedition show and explain her in the Futurium Lab.
