Robots at Futurium
You can discover many robots in the Futurium - both very small and human-sized. They will welcome you to the exhibition and show you how simple automatons have become embodied intelligences, mechanical explorers or human understanding. In workshops, you can steer our smallest robots, the Ozobots, through courses or be served by Lulu in the restaurant. Here we introduce you to all Futurium robots.

Cake by cat
The children love her and she is also well received by the adults: Lulu the robot serves coffee and cake and shows what she's made of as a rolling waitress in the Futurium restaurant. And even her colleagues are impressed by the service robot. Just click on the picture opposite to find out more about this special waitress!
Ready for the stage: Robo, Fluffy and AI
What issues drive robots? Some wonder about humans, others are in a life crisis, and then there are big plans for a career in space... Robo, Fluffy and AI entertain visitors to our exhibition. But they are also eye-catching: In a workshop with a theater dramaturge, a puppeteer and citizens, ideas were rolled around: What could such a robot look like? See for yourself in our three episodes from the world of robots. Just click on the picture opposite!
The small ones: Ozobots
Ozobots are small, programmable robots, just the size of a golf ball. They can recognize colors and follow lines on paper or other surfaces, and users can program the Ozobot's movements and actions by drawing color codes in specific combinations on the paper. Each color combination represents a specific instruction. Ozobots are designed to get young people excited about the world of technology and programming. They offer a fun and interactive learning environment. You can try them out in our workshop.
Pepper, the tourguide
Pepper is a humanoid robot with special abilities: He can speak and understand what people say to him. He presents products, is a service robot, is used in care and even plays the saxophone. You probably also know Pepper from the Futurium. There he welcomes visitors to the exhibition and gives a short introduction. Go on a journey with Pepper through the big world of robots and discover even more robot specimens. Just click on the picture opposite and off you go!
Botti & Friends
Botti is the star of Futurium. The little robot always comes into action when there is something to discover. And Botti is not alone: there is also Ernie, the snowman, with whom he has all kinds of adventures. And the mouse and the elephant, who accompany Botti on his wild ride through the House of Futures. Colleague AILA
The AILA robot lady is a mobile, two-armed robot system from DFKI Bremen for research into mobile manipulation. With particularly light arms and a multitude of sensors, AILA can move objects, perceive its surroundings and perform complex tasks. In contrast to traditional industrial robots, it offers high mobility, advanced sensor technology and powerful computing capacities for machine learning. AILA should be able to work almost anywhere alongside humans and move independently in different environments.
