Growing building blocks

If we continue to use cement, concrete and steel to build houses, it will put a heavy burden on the environment and climate. What primarily makes these building materials so harmful is the way in which they are manufactured. Scientists are therefore not only developing climate-friendly production methods but sustainable materials as well. These have the advantage of being locally available and also make completely new and exciting building forms possible.
