Climate protection between standstill and activism
Who cares when we’re gone?
Climate change cannot be ignored: drought, heavy rain, storms and heatwaves are becoming the rule rather than the exception. Nevertheless, in politics and society, the topic of climate and sustainability seems to be losing importance. Why is that? Why does more knowledge not automatically lead to more action?

Together with you, we want to take a closer look at the societal and political dynamics involved in dealing with climate change: what role do language, emotions and the structures of our political system play? Does the way in which policymakers and the media talk about climate change actually influence our society’s willingness to change? What role does science play in the polarisation of some of the debates? Our experts will be contributing their different perspectives from science, politics and the media – and you’re invited to participate too: join the discussion!
