THE ESCAPE GAME IN SCIENCE YEAR 2020/21 - BIOECONOMY
BIOECONOMYNOW!
"BioEconomy Now!" is an Educational Escape Game, which communicates the possibilities of a bio-based, circuit economy. The players support the agents of the "Action BEN!" in their pursuit of converting the economy of their planet into a bio-economy.
Planet Horizon: A long time ago, the planet reached its global oil production maximum and fossil fuels have been used up. All initiatives to make Horizon more sustainable have been crushed by the leading authority, the Alpha Council. After months of undercover work, the agents of Action BEN! have succeeded in breaking into the planning headquarters of the Alpha Council. Here they have to convert the planning documents for the coming business year as extensively as possible to a bio-based economy to save their planet.
The science game "BioEconomy Now!" was developed by Haus der Wissenschaft Braunschweig (HdW) together with Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD) as part of the Science Year 2020/21 - Bioeconomy and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
