Launch of the new focus
On/Off Relationship: Family Day
Intelligent machines, empathetic algorithms, brain implants and augmented realities: the boundaries between people and technology seem to be increasingly blurred. How will our understanding of what it means to be human change? Some see the rapid development of technology as the dawn of a golden age, others fear the risks. So where should we be cautious and where should we feel confident? Futurium explores all of this in the "On/Off Relationship" – its new thematic focus on the relationship between humans and technology.
During the opening weekend, in the exhibition and at the series of events starting in autumn, we will be discussing the future of the relationship between humans and machines with you and with contributors from science, politics and civil society.

We will be pressing the start button and opening up a lively area of experimentation for all generations! Explore the new thematic focus through experiments: tinker around, look on in awe and discuss what you see - this is the perfect opportunity to discover, try out and question technology together. Creative formats and hands-on activities invite you to explore the topic of humans and technology, test ideas and experience something new. An exciting day full of eureka! moments, interactions and lively conversations for the whole family!
