An afternoon playing board games

Clear Compromises – Arguing till a Solution is Reached

With us, arguing is allowed – and even expressly desired. In this communication game, you’ll be taking on different roles to find solutions to the really important questions in life. As members of the Future Council – sometimes with and sometimes against each other – you’ll try to influence the negotiations to solve the problem. But beware! Your counterparts might also have good arguments and (secret) missions. Cooperating with them is always worthwhile, while making sure you still come out on top. Put to the test your negotiation skills and your ability to compromise!

Society is facing an almost unsolvable problem – time for the Future Council to address the issue. Only the best are accepted – and you’ve made it!For the game, you’ll be taking on one of eight fictional roles and negotiating with each other how the problem should be solved. A task full of responsibility! However, each member brings their own perspectives and interests to the table. Over several rounds, you’ll be discussing and determining what a compromise on the matter might look like. What will it take for you to assert yourself? Whom will you wrap around your finger? Which arguments will you have to drop? And the most important question of all: can you ultimately agree on a compromise?
