The Futurium at CeBIT – See and shape the future

Before the Futurium opens its doors in Berlin, it will inspire CeBIT visitors with ideas for the world of tomorrow.

Before the Futurium opens its doors in Berlin, it will inspire CeBIT visitors with ideas for the world of tomorrow. As the prospective centre for shaping the future, it will bring its workshop and experience space, showcase area and Future Fab Lab to the trade fair in Hanover.

Speeches (also known as Lightning Talks) and workshops are scheduled.

In Lightning Talks, experts from future research, science, design and art fields will give short lectures on the possibilities of IT – presented in an appealing science slam style.

In half-hour Fast Forward Workshops, participants will become familiar with creatively shaping the future – no previous knowledge required. Strategic methods and tools are presented that the Futurium conceives of and shapes the future with.

Anyone who has the inventor’s spirit and drive within them can turn to Future Fab Lab to develop their own prototypes or exchange ideas with other fair visitors.

The booth’s highlight is the database of hopes (“Wünschespeicher”). The first exhibit of the Futurium will premiere at the CeBIT. The “Wünschespeicher” gets to the bottom of the trade fair visitors’ wishes for the future and connects them within a neural network. The constantly changing network can be viewed as a digital installation at the Futurium booth.

Visit the Futurium at CeBIT from March 20th to 24th in Hall 6, Booth C53.
