Festival for a Bio-Based Future
Time to abandon the fossil fuel economy!
For a long time, players from the industrial and science sectors have been busy developing new products and solutions for the bio-based age. In discussions, readings, workshops and escape games, we’re going to shine a spotlight on their innovative ideas in the areas of recycling management and biotechnologies.

We’ll be asking political questions about the vision of a sustainable future in Germany and we’re curious to find out what innovations you yourself would like to see in the future. Together with us, you can make your own bioplastic, marvel at new bio-designs in the Lab, take part in thematic tours of the exhibition, and eavesdrop on readings by international authors. Because literary events featuring international authors are going to be one of our festival’s special treats.
