Opening Reception and Family Day on the Future at Futurium

This is how we kicked off our “ON/OFF Relationship”

With a well-attended opening reception and a lively Family Day, we launched our new thematic focus, “ON/OFF Relationship,” in mid-September. For two days at Futurium, visitors experimented, discussed, marveled, and explored together the question of how we want to coexist with technology in the future.

At the opening, art, science, and questions about the future came together: robots danced, digital doppelgängers came to life, and experts discussed artificial intelligence, neurotechnologies, and our increasingly close relationship with machines.

On the following Family Day, Futurium became a playground for experimentation for all generations—with new exhibits, workshops, and numerous opportunities to participate and discover.

This marks the start of our exploration: In the coming months, we’ll be focusing on the relationship between humans and machines. Where does technology make our lives easier? Where does it change how we see ourselves? And when do we want to be ON—or would we rather be OFF?
