The audio guide will make visits to Futurium even more multimedia-oriented in the future: a guided tour presents the highlights of the exhibition in the thinking spaces Man, Technology, and Nature, as well as in the Lab. In our 45-minute highlight tour, Nubi, the digital spirit of Futurium, guides you through three floors and past 22 stations.
Using the free audio guide is very easy: all you need is your own smartphone or tablet to log into Futurium's free Wi-Fi. Scan the QR code in the foyer to access the web application that launches the audio guide. During the exhibition tour, you can of course use your own headphones or hold your smartphone to your ear as if you were making a phone call.
The audio guide's web application works like a conventional website and can be accessed via the Futurium's Wi-Fi. It is therefore not necessary to download an app or use mobile data. A simple menu allows you to customise various settings such as language, contrast and use of the interactive map.
Available tours and languages
Visitors to Futurium can currently enjoy a highlight tour as well as tours focusing on raw materials and future fields. All tours are available in German and English.
New tours are already in the works and will be added on an ongoing basis.
Audience with hearing impairments
The audio guide includes a text transcription for people with hearing impairments. The highlight tour is also available in German sign language. An expansion of accessible offerings in the form of a tour in easy language is in the planning stages.

Our Kids Guide
Children can discover Futurium and solve tricky puzzles with the Kids Guide! Nubi will be floating with them to ten very special points in the exhibition. He’ll cheerfully provide them with exciting information, let them solve tricky puzzles and take them on a visit to the other charming creatures living at Futurium. And if you solve all the puzzle questions correctly, a little surprise awaits you at the information desk
