Workshop Futurium Lab

Inthis Data Detox Workshop, we are putting a magnifying lens over the topic of AIand Bias. We will define terms like "stereotype" and "implicitbias", learn how to interrogate AI models and the larger systems theyexist in and understand what we can do to feel more empowered. This workshopwill provide space for reflection, group work and exploration.
Workshop direction
Louise Hisayasu is senior project coordinator of The Glass Room. She holds a Masters in media art history and digital cultures; with a keen interest on decolonial practices in Brazil, where she is from. She has over 10 years of experience in event management and extensive experience developing and leading workshops and training programs for partners working in diverse contexts globally. She has edited and designed a variety of digital products, including online exhibits and companion websites for large scale exhibitions. Whilst at Tactical Tech, she has collaborated closely with the Data Detox Kit, to develop educational resources, including an article about the right to repair. Louise is passionate about learning through collaboration, openness and respect.
Dominika Knoblochová is a coordinator of the "What the Future Wants", youth-focused initiative by Tactical Tech. She has a background in social and community work and more than 15 years of experience in informal education. She holds an MA in Civil Society Studies, focusing on engaged interventions (artistic activism) in public space. Dominika has been involved in social and environmental movements and grassroots organizations. She is passionate about using a combination of education, art and co-creation methods to engage young people in discussions about the social and environmental impacts of technology.
