Every factory is a small world of its own. Machines, raw materials and energy are utilised and a product is created – as is waste. Mostly too much of it. Some companies are changing the face of the factory world.

They are using sustainable and recyclable materials, developing new technologies and reorganizing their production. Their goal is to get rid of the waste problem by simply reusing everything. This can work within a factory. But it can also work on a larger scale if many factories join forces and exchange materials among themselves.
