What does a Minister of Agriculture actually do all day? That’s what our quiz masters Tom and Darren are wondering. They give you the chance take on this role for a day and steer the fortunes of German agricultural policy.

Between Brussels, farmers’ protests and visits to factory chicken farms, things are pretty stressful. You have to keep a cool head when you need to take the bull by the horns and provide answers that don’t sound like you are green as the cabbages in your fields. Fortunately, you are not left entirely to your own devices in your ministerial car – you can have a team of up to six people.

At least the prerequisites for the role are fairly simple: you don't have to be interested in agricultural policy to play and win, nor do you have to be able to recite the names and most important reforms of every agriculture minister between here and Bulgaria. Curiosity and an enjoyment of quizzes and games are enough. And with a good dose of general knowledge and the herd intelligence of your team, you’ll have things running smoothly until the cows come home!
