Dive into the fantastic oceanic world with us! We’ll launch our first special exhibition – “Ocean Futures” – in collaboration with The Mind Museum Manila in the Philippines with an opening event and an extraordinary dance performance.

For one night, Futurium will be transformed into a mysterious underwater world. Bizarre sea creatures populate the expansive installation by Filipino artist Leeroy New. In spectacular costumes, the dancers around choreographer Alvin Collantes will be bringing to life the fantastic future world between nature and artificiality. Look forward to an evening full of inspiration and incomparable impressions, where art and performance combine to create a sensual experience.

The exhibition was created in collaboration with The Mind Museum Manila. The artist Leeroy New will be present at the opening event.

Opening Programme (with ticket)

  • 5:30 pm: Doors open
  • 6:00 pm: Welcome and talks
  • 7:00 pm: Get-together with music and gastronomy
  • 7:00 pm & 8:00 pm: Performance “Dance of the Underwater Creatures” in the special exhibition Ocean Futures

Late Opening (no ticket required)

  • 9:00 pm: Walking act and short curatorial introductions in the special exhibition Ocean Futures
