The global conversation on the future of food is shaped by policymakers, corporations, and scientific institutions and making meaningful change in the complex global food systems can seem out of reach. Yet, some of the most innovative solutions to food insecurity and climate challenges emerge from the ground up.

This event features international change-makers who have harnessed their communities in Nigeria, The Philippines, Brazil, and Germany to make real progress towards stronger and more sustainable food futures in their part of the world. In the form of a panel debate, they will share their innovative and community-driven solutions, while a powerful collection of photo-essays and a taste-testing of their locally produced stimms will make those solutions come to life. The event provides a designated space for networking between everyone interested in the future of food and keen to drive change.

A joint event of the Humboldt Residency Programme and Futurium. The Humboldt Foundation is a partner of Futurium.
